The Endowments Management sympathizes with fellow Muslims when a crisis or a disaster happens in any given area or to any individual as part of its charitable mission pursued since its inception. It has provided various types of financial or in-kind support to the distressed in whatever calamity. This is done in coordination with charitable associations and bodies scattered in the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad. The following categories are supported in this field: People afflicted with epidemics and natural disasters happening in some parts of our dear country or any Muslim country, those affected by car accidents, demolition, fires, etc. Accordingly, the Endowments Management ran diverse programs to mitigate setbacks experienced by the people who are supported in this field, putting into account that specific regulations and standards were developed to ensure the delivery of support to those who deserve it .
In doing so, the Alrajhi Endowment tries to achieve the following objectives:
Providing financial and in-kind support to those afflicted by natural disasters such as floods, flash floods, earthquakes and epidemics.
Active participation of the Alrajhi Endowment in realizing the principle of solidarity and cooperation among Muslims.
Providing necessary support to those affected by car accidents, demolition, fires, etc.
To do this, the Alrajhi Endowment applies a number of ways:
Responding to calls of distress when natural disasters happen in any region, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or abroad.
Relieving those who are afflicted by natural disasters or accidents in coordination with associations and charities.
Among the important programs carried out in this field are the following :
Supporting relief programs .
Relieving those distressed with floods.
Sustaining those affected in car accidents, demolition, etc.
Supporting families afflicted by fires.
Supporting those affected by the Rift Valley Fever in Jazan in 1423
Supporting those affected by the floods of Jeddah in 1430 .
The total value of this support reached 33049429 SR (thirty-three million and forty-nine thousand, four hundred and twenty-nine Saudi Riyals).
